What Engines are Available in the 2018 Ford Mustang?

The 2018 version of the Ford Mustang introduces a new base engine and drops the old base engine. Gone is the 3.7-Liter V6 that ran the base level Mustang for so many years. Ford addresses the fuel economy issue with a 4-cylinder engine for the first time in ten years.

The base level Mustang is powered by the turbocharged 2.3-Liter EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine that sips at the fuel line while producing a generous amount of power. For more power, the driving enthusiast can step up to the Ford Mustang GT with a 5.0-Liter Coyote V8 engine that generates 460-horsepower with an innovative mill and both port and direct fuel injection for fuel savings. The Shelby350 or Shelby 350R comes with the 5.2-Liter V8 engine that generates 560-horsepower and 450 lb.-ft. torque.

Come to Frontier Ford Inc. in Diamondville, WY to choose the power level you prefer.
